More than meets the eye?
Eyeborg: Meet the journalist and documentary maker who gets a camera-lens implanted in his eye.
After losing an eye, Rob Spence, journalist and film maker decided to modify his prosthetic eye into a video camera. The camera doesn’t serve as a replacement eye, it isn’t connected to Rob Spence’s brain, it merely functions as any video camera, shooting images and conversations but because it’s invisible to anyone who meets Rob, they soon forget he is recording everything they do. |

Simply by looking around Rob Spence can make movies, wherever he is. He can record every move of those in his field of vision and that’s exactly wat he intends to do. Rob Spence is currently working on a documentary about how video and humanity intersect.
Rob Spence – aka Eyeborg - will be at DNA2009 to talk about and more importantly to show how his implanted camera works and what it can be used for.
> Come to DNA2009, talk to Rob Spence, look him in the eye and be cast in his next documentary!
