DNA2009
|
It’s the beginning of the New Year and only 8 weeks to go before DNA2009, the media conference in the heart of Brussels that you can’t afford to miss.
A year ago, DNA was preparing the first edition of the media conference and the world was a very different place. We were concerned about the impact of digital technology and the web, but these were issues we could examine at our leisure. No more. Today, people all over the world are quite literally fighting for their lives. What a difference a year makes. |

You know it, and we know it. So DNA is dedicated this year to focusing with laser-sharp precision on not just the problems we are encountering, but on real-world solutions based on real-world experience. As budgets are going to be even tighter, we've got a limited window here to understand the new world, the new economies and the new technology and to apply them right. There is no margin for error.
The panelists and speakers at DNA2009 are also exquisitely aware of this and you can’t afford not to be there. March 4th and 5th at Le Plaza Hotel in Brussels. |

Richard Gizbert presents The Listening Post for Al Jazeera and will be hosting some of the sessions at DNA this year. The Listening Post brings Al Jazeera viewers a weekly insight into how the news is covered by the world’s media. It monitors and examines all platforms, all over the world, from newspapers, radio and TV to blogs and podcasts. The goal of The Listening Post is to see the emergence of new voices from regions that are not often heard in traditional western media. |
