Preview the BBC’s Virtual College of Journalism at DNA2009

Establishing the gold standard for journalism training in the UK: that was one of the goals set for BBC’s new College of Journalism. The college, which is responsible for the career-long training of all BBC staff, now surpasses the boundaries of the BBC to enter the virtual world with an ambitious online journalism training project accessible for all.

BBC

In order to achieve its goals, the BBC gathered the most talented journalists from inside and outside the corporation and used their expertise. The online college also includes a forum to spark debate about the future of journalism in the digital age.

And now, at DNA2009, the BBC is ready to unveil its Virtual College of Journalism. Delegates at the conference will preview the website and hear from Kevin Marsh, the Head of the college and former Editor of BBC Radio 4.
