Jan Bierhoff is presently associate professor of Media Management at the Infonomics and New Media Research Group, based at Zuyd University, Maastricht, the Netherlands. Before, he directed EC/DC, the European Centre for Digital Communication, now integrated in the INM group. Until 2000 he worked for the European Journalism Centre (EJC), an international mid-career training facility, as its founding director.
