Vanessa Wade joined Brightcove in 2008, bringing over 20 years of experience in leading high performance sales teams at software companies, both in the US and EMEA. In her previous role she served as Director of Continental Europe for BorderWare, a leading email security provider and before that she was GM EMEA at Mailfrontier where she was responsible for rapid revenue growth prior to the company being acquired by Sonicwall.

Vanessa Wade has also held the position of VP EMEA at Oblix, an enterprise identity management company following on from working at Allaire Corp where, as a senior member of the management team, she was directly involved in bringing the company through a highly successful IPO.
Native of Poland, she is a graduate of the Institute of Economics on Swidnica.
